Privacy.
Short version: we keep only what is needed to sell you a key and make it work. No ads, no trackers, no selling data.
What we store when you buy
For each order: the plan, the price paid, the time of payment, the name you typed for the key, which payment provider was used, and the licence key itself. This is what lets us show your key again and help you if something goes wrong.
We do not store your card details, your PayPal login or your email address on our side.
Your BLING account
If you create an account, we store your username, your password in a protected form (salted and hashed with PBKDF2, so nobody, staff included, can read it), the date you joined and the keys you add. A sign-in cookie keeps you logged in for 30 days; it holds no personal data and is only used for your account. Failed logins are counted per username for 15 minutes to stop password guessing.
You can delete your account yourself from the panel at any time. Your keys keep working in the client.
Payments (Stripe and PayPal)
Card payments are handled by Stripe and PayPal payments by PayPal. They collect what they need to take the payment (for example your email, billing details and card or PayPal account), send you the receipt and keep their own records, under their own privacy policies. Your agreement to our terms, the version you accepted and the time are saved with the payment as proof of purchase.
When you use the client
When you activate a key, the client sends the licence server an anonymous PC ID (a one-way scrambled code made from your Windows installation ID; no hardware serials, files, name or Windows account are read) and a device key generated on your PC. This binds the licence to one PC and stops shared or leaked keys.
The licence server keeps a short history per key (for example "activated", "moved to a new PC", "used from another PC") with dates, so staff can sort out licence problems.
Discord
If you link your key on Discord with /link, your Discord user ID is saved with your licence so the bot can give you the client users role. You can ask staff to unlink it at any time.
This website
No analytics, no ad trackers and no third-party cookies. The only cookie is the sign-in cookie of your BLING account, if you make one. Your IP address is used for a short time to stop spam and abuse (rate limits) and is not saved with your order.
A few settings are saved only in your own browser: the sound on/off choice, and keys you choose to remember on the licence page. For the current tab only, the site may also hold a new key you are about to add to your account. You can clear all of it by clearing this site's data in your browser.
The community page shows the Discord server's public member counts, which our server reads from Discord; your browser does not contact Discord for this.
The site and servers run on Cloudflare, which processes the traffic to deliver the pages.
Who sees it
Only BLING staff, and the providers named above (Stripe, PayPal, Cloudflare, Discord) for their part. We never sell or share your data with anyone else, unless the law requires it.
How long we keep it
Order and licence records are kept while the licence exists and for as long as needed as proof of purchase, for example in a payment dispute. Rate-limit data is gone within minutes.
Your rights and contact
You can ask what we hold about you, ask for it to be corrected, or ask for it to be deleted (deleting your licence record also ends the licence). Open a ticket in the Discord server's support channel. Depending on where you live, you may also complain to your local data protection authority.
Changes
If this page changes, the new version applies from the date below. Last updated: 4 November 2026 (accounts and community counts added).
